Face lipofilling is a procedure for people who want to find a look younger and more attractive.
With age, the volume of adipose tissue is reduced and the skin loses its density and firmness. As a result, facial features tend to harden.
After intensive weight loss, fat tissue disappears, skin loses its firmness, facial lines and wrinkles become more visible.
This effect is especially visible around the cheeks, lips and between the eyebrows. As a result, the face loses its youthful appearance. All of these effects can be corrected with face lipofilling.
The benefits of lipofilling face:
- Face remodeled.
- Folds and wrinkles filled (for example, nasolabial folds).
- Improved tension and firmness of the skin.
- Correction of the facial asymmetry and restoration of the desired proportions.
- Completion of post-traumatic or post-operative deformities.
- Filling of any shortage of adipose tissue (lipodystrophy).
- Softening facial features.

Face lipofilling procedure
The surgeon takes adipose tissue from a selected area such as the abdomen, thighs and hips.
After a special preparation process and thickening of the adipose tissue, it is inserted in the desired area.
Most often, cheeks, lips, deep wrinkles, scars or any loss in the skin area are enhanced with patient’s fat transfer
After the surgery:
When anesthesia dissipates, you may experience mild discomfort, which usually disappears after the first few hours.
In the first days, there may be swelling, combined with oppression of the areas involved in the surgery, and in a variable way, bruising.
It is best not to bend over or lift heavy goods in the early days. You may find it more comfortable to sleep with an extra pillow to elevate your head in this period.
Initially, there may be some asymmetry that will disappear as swelling decreases and healing occurs.
Most people manage to return to normal activities in the first days after surgery. A week later, swelling and possible bruising are normally reduced to a level where social activities can be resumed. We also recommend that you do not do strenuous activities in the first two weeks
